Logo Design for an Art Gallery
The aboveĀ Logo Design was created for a modernist gallery which featured works of art inspired by famous artists. The logo itself was inspired by the artist Wassily Kandinsky. The geometrical shapes for which Kandinsky is famous for can be seen within the inspired logo.
It was decided at an early stage in the project that to create a logo inspired by a famous artist would be an excellent idea / theme for the logo as it would then be communicating something meaningful about the gallery and the works of art that would be exhibited there.
The logo itself has been created by hand rather than using design software on a computer. This is unusual as most of the logos created by Firebubble are created using industry standard design software in a vector format. It is the correct and accepted way that logos especially for business are created using vector based software as the vector files we provide our clients with can be resized to any size without lose of quality which makes them perfect for very small items such as business cards as well as very large displays such as corporate signs and banners. It was fine on this rare occasion though to create a hand drawn logo as the logo only needed to be reproduced at one size, so we created the original artwork at the size that the client intended to use the design so as to provide professional results when the logo was reproduced in a printed format.
